No Rice Protein Gluten Free Dosa
A healthy twist on traditional dosa, made with chana, masoor dal,
oats, and lauki. Each dosa provides 7.4g protein and 131 calories..
Serving-5 dosa
Ingredients
- Chana (Bengal gram) – 100g
- Masoor dal (red lentils) – 100g
- Oats – 100g
- Salt – to taste
- Lauki (bottle gourd) – 250g
- Ginger – 2 inches
- Green chili – 2-3
- Oil – few drops (for cooking)
Method
• Soak: Wash chana, masoor dal, and oats 2–3 times. Soak overnight in sufficient water.
• Grind Batter: In a mixer jar, add soaked chana, masoor dal, and oats along with chopped lauki, ginger, and green chilies. Grind coarsely.
• Season: Add salt to taste and mix well. (No need to add extra water.)
• Cook Dosa: Heat a cast iron tawa. Pour a ladle of batter, spread it evenly, and cook both sides with a few drops of oil.
• Serve: Enjoy this wholesome, protein-packed dosa hot with your favourite chutney or sambar.
