No Rice Protein Gluten Free Dosa

A healthy twist on traditional dosa, made with chana, masoor dal, oats, and lauki. Each dosa provides 7.4g protein and 131 calories..



Serving-5 dosa

Ingredients

  • Chana (Bengal gram) – 100g
  • Masoor dal (red lentils) – 100g
  • Oats – 100g
  • Salt – to taste
  • Lauki (bottle gourd) – 250g
  • Ginger – 2 inches
  • Green chili – 2-3
  • Oil – few drops (for cooking)

Method

Soak: Wash chana, masoor dal, and oats 2–3 times. Soak overnight in sufficient water.

Grind Batter: In a mixer jar, add soaked chana, masoor dal, and oats along with chopped lauki, ginger, and green chilies. Grind coarsely.

Season: Add salt to taste and mix well. (No need to add extra water.)

Cook Dosa: Heat a cast iron tawa. Pour a ladle of batter, spread it evenly, and cook both sides with a few drops of oil.

Serve: Enjoy this wholesome, protein-packed dosa hot with your favourite chutney or sambar.
